Hey there! Ive just arrived from Brazil to Montreal. Canadian born, I lived my whole life in Brasil.
Started to play when I was 14 and never stopped...
I've studied blues for some years and then went to harmonie/guitar classes for 3 years with a private teacher, whom, afterwards I played Jazz Manouche as a rythim guitarist for 2 and a half years.W e went through all kind of gigs, Bars, Theaters,Festivals, Weddings, Streets, Pubs and Clubs, Private parties.
While playing Jazz Manouche, I've been taking classes of harmony, guitar, Choro ensembles, writing and theory at the Escola Livre de Música de Florianópolis (Brazil). Beside that, I was part of Alegre Correa's group of study, composition and improvisation for 4 months, were we created a new music every meeting
That's my main background of studies.
I'd like to play with any musician that likes to create music and compose in different ways/forms. Rock, jaZz, electronic, instrumental, samba.. Many fusions are possible if we have the sensibility to listen and reorder things.
Very hungry for creating and re interpretations. If there's something going on, I'll surely dedicate my full time on it.
