Brandon began playing piano and organ at age 7 and has a solid background in several styles of blues music.
Brandon started playing professionally at the age of 19 after attending music school where he majored in jazz piano performance.
He was “on the road” with blues bands based out of Edmonton, Alberta for several years and also played with international blues performers in the local venues. Highlights include playing in a blues organ trio with guitarist Rodger Stanley, The Rockin Highliners (Juno Award nominees), Smokewagon Blues Band (Maple Blues Award winners), Big Jack Johnson (WC Handy award winner), Wild Child Butler, and Michael Coleman (James Cotton).
Brandon’s style is a combination of American roots and blues, gospel, with elements of jazz. He enjoys recording music in his home studio and has restored and collected several vintage keyboards over the years.
