I'm a rhythm guitarist singing cover songs. It's a full night repertoire of fun rocking, rolling, swinging country, pop and rock n' roll tunes. I usually have a short solo or two worked out for the songs I play. Most of my past gigs have been done along side my brother trading singing duties back and forth Blue Rodeo-style. My greatest concern is to get people dancing, singing and having a good time. I don't consider myself a lead guitarist and struggle to improvise on the spot but I do work out short solo instrumental lead sections when required. I put the song first and keep the solo sections short to keep the focus on the song. I don't mind practicing a song until I'm confident it's gonna get people dancing and singing or grooving along. I work shift work every second weekend and I'm always available Wednesday afternoon and evening for playing. For just over a year I played solo country gospel in my local church on acoustic guitar. I’ve removed alcohol from my personal life but I don't mind being around others who drink responsibly. Illegal drug use will not be tolerated, sorry. I'm looking to find like-minded musicians who want to have some fun and get some people dancing and having a good time. I look forward to hearing from you. Take care, Blair.
