Four Montreal based musicians brought together to create a solid mix of alternative/blues rock, country and pop.
Having played the local hard rock circuit for many years founding member Dax Czernatowicz (Mr. C) aspired to build a project with a fresh musical direction. Looking to step out of his comfort zone and find a more authentic outlet to express the day to day struggles of everyday life, Dax joined forces with drummer Serge Lavictoire and guitar player Cedric Lachapelle (The Chapel). Having performed in many musical endeavours together in the past, the chemistry between the three was a fast and natural outcome.
After several months of writing in search of their new direction Frank Dore was recruited to join BEV as their full time bass player. The acquisition of Dore was exactly what the band needed to finalize their new sound.
