Burn Down Babylon

ABOUT

Burn Down Babylon is an industrial grunge band. We are pro level songwriters and musicans and are looking for the right drummer and lead guitar player to take us to the next level. We have a pro logo, website and merch. We have a pro demo recorded at Powersound studios with Phil Anderson at the controls and mastered by none other than Tom Baker in LA. We are due back in the studio in April and will be working with an icon in Canadian ElectroRock; someone who you can hear on the radio a few times a day. We have around 60-70 songs in various stages of completion. We have a recording/jamming spot with prolevel gear ready to record. We have pro level connections and have worked with some amazing musicians. And we are serious. We want to take this band to the next level..tour record etc. No weekend warriors please.

We are seeking:
A Drummer. Must be able to play to a click. Experience triggering MIDI samples would be awesome. Double kick player would be a plus. We do alot of drum programming...but its simply not the same no matter how good we get at it. We have a MIDI kit, but are looking for someone with their own pro level kit.

A Lead Guitar player: Both aC and I are experienced 15+yrs guitar players. We can play. But we need someone to take over lead so aC can focus more on the vocals/stage show. The parts arn't crazy difficult...we don't need Steve Vai. We don't need someone who only goes "Chunk Chunk Chunk" all day either. What we do need is a versatile guitarist who can play the parts with attitude. Make 'em SNARL.

What we don't need:
The 3 D's: Drugs, Drama, Drinking. The odd drink or doobie is cool. But it can never interfere with the music or band dynamic.

Egos: We've worked with some serious people but we are down to earth. No time wasters or games please.

Session Musicians: We've been down this road before and it's just not what we are looking for. No offence but when I can hire guys from prolevel bands I'm not going to pay you. BDB is a band and we want serious, passionate bandmates who believe in the project.
