I'm a mid 30's bass player whose been playing for over 20 years. I have lots of experience playing a variety of styles, and have played in jazz bands, indie bands, country bands and prog metal bands.
I've been told I have a really good pocket, and lock in with drums really well. I like to think that one well placed note can sound better than ten when called for.
I'm looking to find something I can balance with family and work life, and don't have wild ambitions to tour the country. Just a group to keep my band chops up.

Influences
My younger days were all about the fusion jazz and technical stuff (weather report, rinsethealgorithm, etc.). Lately I've been listening to a lot of prog metal (karnivool!!) and anything with a good ambiance.
