We are Beneath a Crimson Sky, a Modern Metal band with some classical/progressive influences. We are currently looking for a permanent singer to learn the songs from our first album and subsequently record our future records, vocal covers, and EPS.
With the hopes of cementing the new singer's position in our band, we plan to record a videoclip that will feature the new singer's voice on the single from our album, which will help incorporate the new singer as a permanent fixture in the band for marketing and in the eyes of our fans.
We currently have an entire album recorded and mixed at the Zing Recording Studio in Massachussets (Famous for producing Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Devil Wears Prada, Parkway Drive, etc.), and all that is left before release is the Mastering process, which we plan to complete at the world famous Sterling Sound studio in New York, with Ted Jensen.
Once this is completed and we find the right singer (Hopefully, you!) we will be ready to put our marketing plan into motion, which includes our CD release, approaching labels through our numerous contacts on the scene, producing videoclips, and doing shows, tours, etc.
We are incredibly serious in our approach and our desire to make an international career in music, and therefore we have dedicated all of our resources into making this a reality. One of the biggest examples of this is our construction of a house that will serve to:
1. Build a jamspace which will permit us to jam 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
2.Build a studio which will permit us to constantly produce a stream of material to keep fans excited and involved with the band (Such as vocal covers, guitar playthroughs, and other sound and video media), and also record parts of our future records.
3.Create an environment which will allow us to conduct business and give stability and security to all of the band members, in case they desire to live on premise, or need a place to stay for a certain period of time (this is not obligatory, of course, but is always an option for every member)

If this project interests you, here is the type of singer we require;
-A female singer with a Soprano voice (Ideally Lyric Soprano) around 18 to 24 years old.
-Must have very good pitch control and sensibility, a lot of power, and a nice Clean vocal tone.
-Dedicated to the band and ready to work hard
-Good pronunciation, a good attitude fitting for a metal band frontwoman, a lot of drive, and a good sense of style are really solid assets.
-Ready to improve themselves (For example, learn to scream, and take vocal coaching). *We have a very good business relationship with an amazing vocal coach who not only has a doctorate in vocal interpretation but also knows our project and its vocal needs very well.
-Preoccupied with her technique and her interpretation.
-Ready to invest time and money long term in a career with our band.
One last thing to note is that our record does indeed have a fair amount of 'scream' type vocal techniques. While we would optimally prefer having one singer that performs all the different vocals on the record, we are flexible and open to allowing someone that has a great clean technique to take the time to develop and learn the proper scream techniques. If you are not interested in doing screams we can also find another solution, such as getting a second singer, developing screams for another member, etc.
