Stoner Metal Plus band
After Work Ritual is often described as a stoner metal band, but there is a lot of variety to the musical styles from song to song. The styles change from Sabbath like stoner/doom in one song to blues rock in another, to hard rock, to classic metal, and a bit of punk and funk. The more recent songs are trending in a heavier direction. Tunings ramge from Sandard E, Dropped D, Standard D, and Dropped C.
We are seeking a bassist that plays fingerstyle and can preferably do a bit of slap. We have bass amps at both jam spaces in West Kildonan and Transcona. We jam once a week, occasionally twice. We have about 2 albums worth of material and are working on recording. If you are looking for a band that does multiple styles of rock and metal, then contact us.
