Colbey & Taylor Collab In ProgressCame up with this material tonight at Colbey's bedroom studio, coming along pretty neat so far.
Colbey's MiniMoog Voyager Custom Select Series is crazy good, dat analogue tone.
For the sake of uploading - probably sounds crappy lol - March 15th riffLittle thing I did up today because I haven't been recording much lately. The (fake) bass probably sounds bad, idk, too lazy to work on it any more atm lol. Any and all suggestions welcome. I'll probably try to turn this into a song in the future. On my non-studio headphones (Turtle Beaches lol) the overhead mics on the drums (cymbals) sound a bit too loud - what do you think?
Heavy jumble of sludge marmalade chairShowcasing the Bogner Ubershall amp sim.
Still trying to find a satisfying kick drum tone, one that doesn't sound so dull.
Feedback on the rhythm guitar was unintentional but it kinda makes it sound industrial...I'll leave it for now haha
No turning back - Pod HD Pro patch 6DStock patch 6D on the Pod except that I turned off the distortion pedal at the front of the chain.
Title was given just because it kind of reminds me of drifting off into space and knowing you might not return to Earth and "all that is familiar", idk kinda cheesy but whatevs lol :P
Kind of influenced from the band "The Contortionist"
Random 3 weird riffs aug.13thFirst riff is just a random thing I was messing with
Second riff was originally the same but in straight 4/4 time, but something messed up and caused to go off timing and I thought it sounded interesting haha.
Last riff is literally the POD HD Pro, no other synths at all, and it's only two guitar tracks [one as electric guitar and one as (sloppy) bass guitar]
(Teaser) Random song Aug11thMatt Hannam and I have been working on this recording today and here's a little sample for ya.
All sounds done with Line 6 POD HD Pro and Cubase 5.
Guitar used is an Ibanez RG7321 with Dimarzio Crunch Lab in the bridge and a Liquifire in the neck.
