Kobè is a prolific Ghanaian / Bermudian multidisciplinary performer, producer and composer based in Canada. His work has earned awards in music, media, film, television, dance, theatre, opera and community engagement.

His highly “edutaining” performances are hilarious, interactive and animated - engaging audiences with true stories and self-made electric and acoustic instruments. Aquaa’s trademark genre is, “sonic jollof - the sound of jazz, reggae, rock and blues coming face to face with their ancestors.”

Kobe’s all-star, Djungle Bouti Orchestra, features artists from Algeria to Zimbabwe, Trinidad to Tanzania and Congo to Canada. Members include Kwanza Msingwana, Kofi Ackah, Andrew Craig, Fethi Nadjem, Alex St Kitts, Marito Marques, Nimon Musiq, Austin Gembora, Atenna Hercules, Deanna Jade, Rich Fairthorne ii... Their “Djazz 2.1.4” album, acclaimed as “an audio decoding of African DNA” was nominated for a TIMA Independent Music Award.

Kobe entertains presidents and pre-schoolers internationally, leaving them laughing, dancing and singing - weaving their emotions into a tapestry of his diverse music, history, instruments, and culture. Every unique sound and story is relatable.
