Toronto-based shoegaze/nowave project AloneKitty (alonekittytoronto) is seeking a committed drummer for upcoming live dates plus ongoing regional shows. This IS a paid gig however I would consider someone solid signing on.

About the project:
– Signed
– Last two releases charted in NACC
– Upcoming new record currently being tracked
– Previous collaborations include Simon Scott (Slowdive)

The current session drummer has completed the new record but is stepping into another touring commitment. Looking for someone ready to step into the live role and grow with the project. I really need someone that hits hard and with precision to meet the demands of the material.

Expectations:
– Learn ~40 minutes of existing material
– Strong dynamic control (space / tension / noise)
– Professional reliability
– Availability for rehearsals in Toronto
– Interest in developing long-term if fit is right

This is a serious, forward-moving project with confirmed festival and ongoing dates.

Ideally looking for someone that sees this as more than a side gig.
