total newbie here - I'm really just looking around for now.
was classically trained in piano as a kid; I learned my chords and music theory fairly well. played stage band stuff thru high school and for a few years afterward. also played in a few local theatre productions and a local prog-rock garage band that never really ever played any gigs of note.
I miss playing with other people. thought I'd check this site out and see where I might fit in best...
I've also got a backlog of songs I've written that I would love to record properly someday.
