I'm in my 30s and have been playing guitar off and on for about 15 years. I gave up on the idea of music in my mid 20s, but over the last few years have dusted off my old gear and been practicing a lot. I'm mostly interested in creating original music and would love to find collaborators. I have been writing songs and singing them and I think I sound decent. I've torn the roof off a few karaoke rooms. But don't expect me to be singing like a trained singer.
An ideal for me would be 1 night a week or so to practice, and if things go well we could play some shows and record. Basically take it one step at a time. I have a career that I like and a family, so this is mostly a hobby. But I will be committed to it if things go well.
I'm generally a creative person and view music as a creative outlet more than anything. I would also be open to just casual jamming for the sake of learning.
I'm definitely more of a rhythm guitarist but I'm working on playing lead! I love coming up with catchy riffs and am slowly getting better at soloing.
