I've been playing guitar for about 25 years.... But only in the last 3 years have I become quite serious. I took 18 months of lessons which really took me to the next level. Now I feel like I really need to start playing with people to take it to the next, next level!

I would love to accompany another guitar player who's singing. I'd also be interested in playing rhythm for a band.

I'm super casual and easy going.. if a fit isn't right, at least we tried it. I'm up for experimenting and will give anything a go.

My personal roots are in alternative and alt.country music: Wilco (esp. Mermaid Ave material w/ Billy Bragg), Ryan Adams, My Morning Jacket etc..

Recently I've discovered old-time roots Acoustic Blues and I'm learning a lot from studying this stuff: Mississippi John Hurt, Lightin' Hopkins, Mance Lipscomb and of course Robert Johnson.

I'm also a lover of Classic Rock: I'm HUGE on The Beatles as well as Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison etc..
