I am seeking to rehearse once a week and play the odd gig. I am looking for a group of older (seasoned early R&B musicians 60-70's era)who would be interested in putting together an R&B orchestra similar to the Funk Brothers. I also like to play 60 British Invasion Music (Animals, Beatles, Stones, Kinks etc.)
I have a black friend who is a phenomenal player and maestro/emcee who can mimic anyone from Frank Sinatra to Jimmi Hendrik. If I could put together a group of commited musicians I'm sure he would be interested in getting involved to play concert gigs
