ABOUT

"3rd Stratosphere" was established September of 2012.

Donna & Neil Root are husband and wife. They have created music together for nearly 10 years. For 7 of those years they were founding members of a secular "Symphonic Metal" band "Avidas". God revealed to them that they had to "let go of all of it" because He had bigger plans in store for them. (full rights to everything were given to the remaining members).

Deana Hoyles, (Donna's twin sister) has since joined them on this new musical journey. She has also released her own album titled, "FOR YOUR GLORY" https://www.facebook.com/deanahoylesmusic

When you strip away the music, their lyrics have a message about love, friendships, the battle lines between discouragement, brokenness, despair, needing God, predestined for greatness & to wake the walking dead (those who do not know Jesus).

Fusing their creative talents has allowed them to create music that has reached a broad audience. "We want our music to exist within the Christian realm, but also inspire those who do not believe in God. We want our music to impact people, but most importantly, feed the soul. Revolutionize lives and bring our fans to a place of complete surrender to God."

Their plan...."To infiltrate every city/town with the gospel of Jesus Christ, destroy the works of the enemy, and rebuild today’s culture. This ministry is more creed than career, more mission than music. We don’t use people to make ministry happen. We use ministry to make people happen. We want to create music that's not just powerful and relevant, but where the anointing in the room/concert just cannot be denied!"

They have a mutual respect for each other’s gifts and a shared passion for encouraging believers, but also being salt and light to a hurting world.

SALT & LIGHT

13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
