ABOUT

I actively play about half a dozen instruments with some seeing more action than others. I mainly play indie/alternative rock; however, my experience also extends to other genres such as jazz or folk. I have performed at many Edmonton venues and attend many concerts both as a fan and a music journalist. I am wanting some people to jam with either by joining an existing project or starting something new. I have a well-equipped basement jam space with a good PA system.

Influences

A majority of my listening fits into the alternative/indie pop/rock category with frequent excursions into other genres. I am a big fan of modern and experimental jazz. Some of my favourite artists are Said The Whale, The Zolas, Cage the Elephant, Broken Social Scene, Rural Alberta Advantage, The Decemberists, Radiation City, Alfa Mist, and Freddie Hubbard. That list often changes.
