The approach is inclined toward polyphony, and the styles range from chamber music to pop/rock.
The normal process is that I produce a score and demo recording, then record individual tracks from contributors.
It is not necessary to read music, but could simplify learning parts for the more chamber music oriented pieces. I can extract individual parts to help learning by ear.
I have portable recording studio and can travel in lower mainland to record tracks, and have a makeshift small studio space in Vancouver. I also take tracks submitted as sound files.

Influences
All roads lead to the Beatles in the pop world. In the chamber music world, look to early music, such as JS Bach and Dufay.
