About
I will play punk/rock/metal/hip hop/funk (or a combination of all those). I like to play originals but open to perhaps a good tribute band.
I am currently playing with the Nelson Moving Mosaic Samba band. My primary drum is the caixa (snare).
I am also looking into getting a mandala electronic drum, audio interface and roland sampler to start my own project doing live dance music/percussion. Recording, looping and sampling live.
Am also looking for fellow musicians to write instrumental and experimental music, using guitar, bass, keyboard, electronic mediums and drums to create progressive songs with texture and feeling. Using instruments to create more expansive music, and guitar lines as the primary lyrical expression.
Influences
Some of my favorite drummers are Danny Carey, Matt Cameron, Dave Buckner, Travis Barker, Ian Paice, Jimmy Chamberlin, Chad Smith and Tim Alexander to name a few.
