Since reading the Indie Band Bible by Mark Makoway of Moist, discovering Taxi Music, Artist House Music industry interviews and other promotion tools such as bandmix my goal is 50 in 5: that is to collaborate with 50 artists over 5 years for the fun of it and the residual earnings potentials. The more you get played the more you get paid!

I may offer my original lyrics with existing base melodies to you for professional polish or find a fit for your "off the floor session recordings" to give them that chorus or hook for radio play appeal. I invite your offers to write or shout about any theme, be it the human condition, fact or fiction.

For a quite a few years I've been writing lyrics. As of early 2011 I'm still learning to become a decent piano player and building confidence to accompany truly talented musicians. I may always be shy as a live performance artist but I love to bring lyrical life to a jam session and never stop sketching expressions and documenting unusual, intriguing or profound phrases. My words may be your path to stages or a top 10 chart busting tune for the ages.

Words are cheap but at a dime a dozen lines or better for fair share of copyright collaborations there is opportunity for you as studio musician, agent, or talented performance artist(s) and me as lyricist to form a songwriting team. I've worked hard reviewing entertainment law recently and worked carefully on several adaptable, clear, songwriter agreements to provide for this opportunity. The objective is win-win with zero hassle from verbal greeting to easy reading and signing then onto the creative process and production quickly.

Writers (© holders) receive royalties from copyrighted songs; non-writers do not. To resolve issues with respect to infringement or perceived unfairness by non-writer future participants (ie other band members or session players enhancing the key melody and lyrics), a complimentary adaptable intra-band agreement will serve to share copyright royalties equitably without sacrifice of perpetual (co)writers claims.

Verbose veracity aside, my passionate energy, technical writing techniques, business fundamentals, sales savvy, digital arts skills, audiovisual technical knowledge base (from 10+ years in the home theatre business) all alongside web marketing may serve great assists selling discs, data, tickets or merchandise with you working the stage.

Recording and production gear in my home studio is well equipped to work with musicians and decent enough for demo takes, mixing and quick pre-releases. I won't claim to be a professional promoter, band manager or engineer but my tools, workspace, lifestyle and business model are built on the foundation of flex hours and multiple revenue streams. My skill sets compliment artists who manage themselves, professional managers looking for a project assistant or any who need a press package.
