Messdup is a mature, all original act in need of a bassist. The band rehearses weekly at a studio Markham, is actively writing and recording material and through self-promotion is inching its way to becoming a may on the GTA’s music scene.
The music: a diverse mixture of genres with an emphasis on catchy hooks and strong melodies. A sample can be found here https://www.reverbnation.com/messdup8
Live performance: working hard to increase exposure in the GTA via opening acts and smaller venues
Material: two sets of completed songs and many more at various stages of completion. A producer has been hired for fine tuning and recording.
Focus: writing, recording and performing. The band is investing money in itself and generating an income is not a priority at the moment.
The band requires an individual who is reliable, creative and open-minded. One needn’t be a virtuoso, but decent bass chops are a must. Backing vocals are a bonus.
