Hi! My name is Maclayne! I am a vocalist currently studying voice at the University of Calgary. I've been singing for as long as I can remember, and playing piano since I was 8. I taught myself to play ukulele and guitar around the age of 15, and love to accompany myself as well as jam with a group of people. I love all sorts of music, including jazz, pop, EDM, classical, acoustic, and alternative.

Influences
Etta James is probably my biggest influence as far as performance technique and just over all stylization goes. Some of my other idols are Michael Jackson (isn't he everyone's?), Freddie Mercury, Jack Johnson, Lana Del Rey, and Ella Fitzgerald.

EQUIPMENT
As far as equipment goes I have a full sized keyboard with weighted keys, several amps, a Boss RC-30 loop station, a microphone, an electric-accousitc guitar and ukulele, and a macbook (if that's helpful in any way).
