I am open to a wide variety of styles but mainly interested in Classic Rock. I can sing well and have a fair bit of ametuer experience/gig experience. I have sung with bands and musicians as a guest vocalist (for a song or two) in the past as well as have been trained in High School and a Theater Vocal program. I have been jamming with a band on a regular basis for the last few months, but I have just moved to BC so I am looking for a new band that is seeking a female singer. You gotta start somewhere right? I would relate my sound to Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Amanda Marshall or Melissa Etheridge. But I can also do Alanis Morrisette and Sheryl Crow and have been known to try some Robert Plant and Jim Morrison as well :)
I have a little bit of studio experience and have a few tracks cover tracks recorded. I would like to write my own music eventually, but in general I am just looking to perform with a professional/semi professional band. **Update - I'm now in Alberta!

I have been influenced mainly by Classic Rock. I love Zeppelin, The Doors, Eagles, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles as well as current musicians like Alanis Morisette, Melissa Etheridge and Amanda Marshall.
