About

Marcel Leger was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on Sept. 19th 1975. The Maritimes are mostly fishing communities but Marcel’s home town was also a big tourist area in the summer because of it’s beautiful beaches and it’s rich history and culture. Marcel is an Acadian wich means his heritage is French and can be traced as far back as some of the first settlers of Canada. He became interested in music at the young age of 6. This is when he got his first drum set and has been guided by his passion for rhythm into this spiritual journey. During the last 28 years he has travelled and learned different styles of music directly from the source and has taken some formal education along the way.
