I've been wanting to find a group to work with for a really long time; so the wait is over! I've been singing for years; I'm in a small folk cover band, but since the lead guitarist got married we haven't been performing anymore. Besides a small stint in singing lessons, I've pretty much just done my own thing. My voice is more tailored to blues/jazz music, but I love to throw my own twist on pretty much anything.

Influences
My vocal influences are mostly independent artists like Sarah Harmer and Ingrid Michaelson; folk with a blues feel to it. What I really enjoy though is the chance to just belt out some fun stuff - Zeppelin or Aerosmith.

So, I lived in Ecuador for a year and a half and I made a friend that wanted to record me. Unfortunately, this was one of the only English songs he had in his karaoke repertiore; it wouldn't be my first choice to demo my voice - but it's all I can find now. The opening pre-amble was a message I sent to my family... disregard that. Anyways, this is the only track I could find right now so I hope it works!
