ABOUT

I am looking for musicians interested in forming a band or bands that are already in progress and seeking a rock and pop singer. I have over twenty years of experience here in Brazil and will soon be arriving in Canada to start a new career, as well as to make new connections with local artists. My plan is to arrive around mid-June of this year (2024), however, I can come earlier if necessary. I had a brief stint in San Francisco, California in 2018/19, where I played in some local bars and pubs. Here in Brazil, I have been playing since my twenties in bars, restaurants, and major shows in the region. With my band RH Positivo, I have recorded several albums and singles over all these years. I am a musician who takes the art of singing very seriously, as well as taking good care of my voice. I am forty-one years old and still sing songs in their original keys, reaching high notes using techniques I have learned throughout my life. I also play the guitar and compose songs.

Influences

My influences range from Elvis and the Beatles to contemporary artists like Coldplay, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, among others. The great rock bands of the 80s also had a huge influence on my life as a musician, always singing songs by artists like Bon Jovi, U2, Pearl Jam, Deep Purple, Guns 'N' Roses, AC/DC, Skid Row, Metallica, REM, among others, in my shows. Country music has also always been around, as I enjoy listening to it a lot and it makes me feel very good.
