SPOILS is

a loud, melodic, grungy punk band with two guitars+two vocals+bass and a deep debt to Dischord Records (Fugazi, Lungfish), 90s indie rock (PJ Harvey, Slint, Tori Amos), and proto/prog/jazz-punk (Wire, The Ex, NoMeansNo).

three white folks in our 30s and 40s, of mixed height and gender, invested in feminist, anti-racist, anti-colonial community, striving to be thoughtful about how we take up space on and off stage.

not in this for money. we've all been doing the punk/DIY thing for 20+ yrs and are passionate about music as a creative and social force. we make a few bucks here and there, but by and large we pay our own way.

on the hunt for a drummer with rock-solid rhythm and strong dynamic sensibilities who can practice once a week (or more in a pinch!) in anticipation of gigs, recording, and light touring. most importantly we'd love to connect with someone who shares the commitments/investments above!
