I'm a Lead Guitarist in a Metal band (called "Conskripted") seeking a Bassist and Rhythm Guitarist (I don't mind switching up Lead and Rhythm). We are a trio of highschool seniors with a Drummer and a Vocalist. I have over 8 years of experience playing guitar, our Drummer has 3 years of experience and our Vocalist has around 3 years experience as well. We play all kinds of metal, mostly thrash metal, groove metal and death metal.
We started the band in mid October and we've played a show in January at a local event with a few other bands. At the time we played with our former Rhythm Guitarist and our Vocalist/Bassist, however, our Vocalist is going to be focusing on Vocals. Our setlist was Raining Blood - Slayer, our first original and Before I forget - Slipknot. We had planned to play a show during March break, however, we had to hold off for a bit due to family problems as well as scheduling practices with our former Rhythm Guitarist.
We plan on playing a show in May here in Brampton. Our setlist is Raining Blood - Slayer, Original 1, Walk - Pantera, Love - Gojira, Original 2 & 3, Scourge of Iron - Cannibal Corpse and Face the Pain - Stemm (UFC Theme Version).
Our practices are every Friday from 4:00 - 9:00 PM (try making it for at least 3 hours between that time, or we can arrange practice for another day). If you are interested in joining the band as a Bassist or Rhythm Guitarist (again, I don't mind switching up Lead and Rhythm but practice the Rhythm tabs), practice the tabs for one or two of the songs in the setlist above and send us a video on our gram: conskripted.
