SEEKING

Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar.

ABOUT

I play drums daily since 2016 and am self taught. Played guitar for over a decade but haven't played guitar in a long time. I have a certificate in sound engineering. Can sing backup vocals in a pinch.

I'm interested in joining a semi professor band with an interest in playing the live music scene locally. I have a half decent basement setup for recording audio and jamming through in ear monitors (or out loud if we want to). My rig is setup through a laptop for live multitracking over a full set of mics and direct inputs. It's not fully professional but the mics are decent and the sound is sufficient for live tracking a full band. It sounds pretty great to me.

I play mainly rock music but can jam to anything really. That being said my goal is to form a modern Rock band playing music from the 80's 90's and 2000's and/or a few originals.

My philosophy is against click tracking as I think music should be played organically. That being said I'll use a click to queue segments where it's really needed if necessary.

Due to my situation I'm available by and large all day every day. My schedule is very flexible.

EQUIPMENT

Am equipped. I have a 4x12 Marshall cab but no head. If you're fine with that just bring a head and we can cordon off the guitar amp and mic it live in the far corner beyond some heavy blankets. It doesn't bleed too badly. Enough for some decent live recordings/pro sounding live jams over in ears. Maybe one day I'll get an isolation box.
