Salut à tous,
I would like to find like-minded musicians to form a Melodic Death band. I’m casual about genres definitions, so all kinds of influences like Black, thrash, symphonic and etc. are welcome. Progressive is cool too, yet I’d rather avoid anything that came out of djent. On the same note -nothing related to grind, deathcore, and other ideas that involve chugging breakdowns for 3 minutes straight cause it's "br00tal". :)
Just keep it melodic, keep it metal!
I also wouldn’t mind joining an existing band that plays within similar direction.
I’m a multi-instrumentalist, released a few solo albums around Symphonic & depressive Black over the years. However, the point is to play live and not being a bedroom production again. Also, I’m interested in actually working and collaborating with other people instead of producing it all myself again.
There are 3 short demo track links. They are more of an indication of a musical direction than actual songs. Certainly, not a benchmark for production, lol. Again, the point is -I don’t want to write a finished demo myself, rather make these riffs into songs together. They all supposed to be in B-minor, the one in E will be re-recorded later.
Who I’m looking for:
Guitarist (ideally 7 string, but not a necessity)
Bassist (5 string a must, or a BEAD conversion for a 4 string bass)
Vocalist (cleans not necessary, better if you play an instrument though)
Any classical instrumentalists, such as violinists, pianists, cellist, flautists, etc. are welcome. I play cello and piano, can do some woodwind instruments too, so it could be a lot of fun to write a bit more interesting arrangements.
Please be committed, leave your politics & ideologies out of the door, same goes for ego and substance abuse.
Et si vous parlez français, aidez-moi à pratiquer s’il vous plâit!

Ibanez RGD7521 is the only really relevant to this project. Have other guitars & basses in standard tuning also, but one & string is all I need here.
I run fully digital, IR's and FRFR cabinets. Would prefer other members to ditch analogue amps as well, but I'm flexible.
