ABOUT

Bigs is from parts unknown and now calls the North mountain home.
Brought into this world by musically talented parents. My mom was a spoon playing singer song writer. My dad was a guitarist and a singer song writer. My love of the drums and music came from growing up in the 70's and the different genres of music. My dad's band had practices every Friday at the house.

Musical highlights are playing in Glasgow Scotland on the 31st October 2005 for 5000 people on Halloween. What a night it was. Just started playing drums again with a band since 2007 other than as a fill in when required for a few different bands locally.

This is my new journey and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Influences

My love of the drums and music came from growing up in the 70's and the different genres of music.

Being a kid growing up in the 70's - 80's Bonzo was a big influence. Kenny Aronoff, Tommy Lee, Carter Beauford, John Graham "Mitch Mitchell", Ginger Baker, Tommy Aldridge "God Father of the double base, Keith Moon, Buddy Rich and perhaps one of the best for last The Professor Neil Ellwood Peart.

My first kit was a Muppet Show drum set at the age of six. Once the skins broke I used pillows and binded straws for sticks.

I haven't looked back since.
