Hello! I am a 27 year-old cis-female bassist originally from the Okanagan who's lived in Vancouver for 8 years and I've been looking to get into a band for a long time. I've been playing bass on-and-off for 7 years after deciding to switch from guitar.
I am hoping to find a drummer (...or someone who can work a drum machine...) and 1 or 2 guitarists, preferably a guitarist who can write lyrics/compose a basic song structure since I'm not too good at songwriting. A synth player would be a welcome addition as well.
Any gender, any skill level, preferably in their 20's or 30's, but can be older or younger depending on compatibility!
I live in South Vancouver near Marine Drive Station but I'm very willing to commute to whatever rehearsal space we may use.
