I am a 54 year old drummer with many years of experience looking for some work with a decent band. I am a very good quality drummer with excellent meter and adaptable to many different styles of music. I have done a decent amount of studio work and of course live shows. My playing style is mainly to stay in the pocket but I also have some decent chops. I have a good sense of humor, easy going and dependable. I don't use any drugs but do like to drink socially. Influences
Honestly too many to mention.... I have hundreds of pieces of vinyl (for the Stern Fans).. everything from Alison Krauss to The Who, because of my age I obviously lean towards classic rock and pop. Drumming influences are as varied as my listening tastes, but to name a few - Steve Gadd, Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart, Steve Jordan, Levon Helm, Neil Lafortune.

EQUIPMENT
I have 3 different drum kits;
Roland V-Drum full kit - perfect for smaller venues where volume is an issue.
Tama mohagany set - 22" kick, power toms
Gretsch vintage kit(s) - one set with a 20" kick and several toms, one set with a 24" kick (huge sound!)
Cymbals are mostly Zildjian but I also have Sabian & Paiste that I use depending on the sound required.
