Favourite bands are The Tragically Hip, Led Zeppelin, Sheepdogs, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, lots of other good ones. Looking for a good band to play with, Ive played guitar for about 17 years or so, I dont read music, I improvise quite a bit, I can read tabs for more complex riffs I listen to.
Really want to cover tragically hip songs, or any songs from the above listed bands, and others. Ideally would like to play lead or rhythm guitar and sing. My strengths are guitar and vocals, and I dabble with drums and bass, keyboard being my least familiar instrument I play.
If anyone is interested in getting me out for a jam I would love to get out there. Ive been playing alone for a long time and my friends just are beginning to play so it is a little frustrating. If its just to jam, or if you want me to learn some songs to play before I show up...just let me know!
