I have been a professional musician for over 30 years playing guitar and mandolin in many different genres and contexts. I guess my main interest is jazz (any sub genre), but I am also very interested in other genres including rock, blues, country, fusion, gypsy, and bluegrass. I am particularly interested in possibly doing a mandolin/upright bass duo sort of like the Chris Thile/Edgar Meyer Duos. Any upright players up there??? I recently took up steel guitar for fun. I am relocating to Kamloops in October and would like to hear from ANY musicians about the music scene up there!
