I am Canadian-born but grew up in South Africa. My wife and I were professional musicians back in the day. I have been writing songs since I was 15 and I have been playing the guitar (mostly acoustic) and keyboards/piano since that time as well. I have a wide range of musical interest, love good lyrics and harmonies as well. I am not into metal, dubstep, EDM, etc.

I grew up with the Beatles, Bee Gees and Simon and Garfunkel - love Jethro Tull, Mike Batt, BTO, Janis Ian, Joan Baez, Christopher Cross, Sting, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Bublè, Leonard Cohen, Charlie Puth, Eagles, Enya, Chicago, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and on and on,.
