Saxophone, Keyboard, Harmonica.

We are writing, recording, and then looking to play our live show / distribute our music, with the goal of entering the International Blues Challenge in 2020, and maybe make it to Memphis!

This Blues-based music project features original music within our live show typically mixed with 30% select Blues covers. Our project currently has our Drummer/vocalist, our Bass Guitar player/Vocalist, myself on Guitar and Lead Vocals but we also play a couple of the Bass Players' songs where he sings Lead Vocals, and instruments switch!

Currently, all Drums tracks recorded, and 60% of the remaining tracks are tracked, so the project is moving along. FYI, the songs listed here on Bandmix are songs from my previous project which the band is currently playing as part of the regular set.

At this time, we are looking to add a fourth musician into our project, who can make the clean committment to join up. We have an awesome band room setup in the Richmond Road SW Calgary Area. We meet once a week, usually Tuesday or Wednesday from 7pm until... whenever the playing stops!

We are seeking to add Organ/B3/Rhodes Keyboard into the music and show. If you play other Blues instruments such as some Harp, Horn, (something other than Guitar - we are full in that department!) there is artistic freedom to add your own ingredients to our 'Blues Slow Cooker'

The music is upbeat, energetic, arranged, radio-friendly, and you will have your spots to shine, as we all 'serve the song.' You do not have to be Master Class, and this is not what the project seeks! If you can add keyboard chordal pads / colorations / basic fills - this opportunity should appeal to you.

If interested to find out more, please shoot a message over with your ** Contact Information ** or if you cannot message then visit www dot shutdownmiles dot com and fill out the form on the connect page. Note, this is my old website, not the current band website. However, the live show features 3 tunes off this last CD of mine.

OK Thanks Everyone for reading and please let us know if you can bring something to this exciting opportunity!

Oh right, one more detail, if we have the opportunity to go to Memphis in 2021, then you need to be legal to enter the U.S. :-)
