Someone Like YouBecause who doesn't love an Adele song played on the bagpipes? This is available for download at www.jennadennison.com/bagpipes for $1.29, if you like it please support this freelancing bagpiper :)
I arranged this myself, and recorded it on my practice chanter by plugging it into my GHB. (I thought it was too sweet a tune to play on the pipe chanter.)
Stay ^tuned^ for more bagpipes tutorials and arrangements! Post in the comments if there is a pop song you want to hear on the pipes!
Seven (MIDI demo)A contemporary string quartet, composed in 2015 by Jenna Dennison. Originally written for a dance choreography based on the seven sins, this music is inspired by the sins Sloth and Wrath.
Were Watson an OrganIn "Were Watson an Organ", the pipe organ plays the role of a computer like "Watson" (the autodidactic IBM computer), but devouring organ repertoire rather than online information. The music portrays what the inside of the computer's "brain" might sound like as it races from piece to piece, beginning clumsily but amalgamating the music seamlessly by the end. The electronics enhance the experience through sounds of radio scanning and modems as we hear a classical mash-up come together out of 40 existing organ staples. The piece is meant to be both a satire of and a homage to its sources, including Ives, Bach, Reger, Messiaen, Dupré, and Alain.
