I'm pop punk trash, in my 30s, and own instruments. I am I think legally obligated to be in a cover band and it's starting to bother me that I'm not.
If it's all power chords, I can play it. Would be an okay rhythm guitarist. Better on bass tho. Although not totally up to speed enough to play any bonkers ska or anything, I can handle my own on most of teenage garbage I am still in love with..
Like, if you just mushed up that When We Were Young festival into one cover band I'd want to play bass in it.
