50 year old guitarist. Have played a few gigs, over a dozen years ago. I have earned hundreds of dollars! ;-)
I have reached a new level of speed and technique over the past year or so learning Bark at the Moon. I feel like I can learn almost any metal song short of the super down picking masters like Slayer. I have been working on classic metal tracks like 2 Minutes to midnight and they are coming along relatively quickly
I tend to sing more than play guitar in my groups as there are 100 guitarists for every singer, but I would love to be more guitar heavy in this initiative. I am semi-serious as a guy who has a wife and a good job.
Please have songs that you can play from start to finish and please post some music clips (like I have) to show me where you are at. Would like to find a drummer as paramount, a singer a bassist and another guitarist would be ideal.
