I'm an experienced and energetic 56 year-old classic rock guitar player that likes to sing and play. I'm looking for a Bass player that lives south of the Malahat for a rock'n three-piece. I smoke weed(chronically) but I don't drink or do hard drugs. I have a small rehearsal place in East Sooke and a nice Acoustic 470 Head and 2X15 cab sitting here so you don't have to pack much gear.

Influences
Jimi, Clapton, Beatles, Floyd, Elton John, Frank Marino...but I do like some of the newer Alt rock like Foo Fighters, Mathew Good, Chile Peppers, Wide Mouth Mason, Green Day etc. I'm not a metal guy, more a high energy rock guy, I tend to pick songs I can half-ass sing...I'm not fussy...but that's a qualifier. I have a good ear...learning new songs is not difficult for me.

EQUIPMENT
Got a 70's era Fender Strat and Gibson SG. Play them both equally. I have a variety of amps but have become more and more fond of the new digital stuff. I'm not a loud player but I do like the Marshall sound and effects. I really like my Wawa pedal.
