Twin.Fin is a high energy swing and rockabilly influenced band based in London, Ontario. Drawing on the repertoire of Janis Martin, Wanda Jackson, Brian Setzer, and Tarantino Soundtracks, along with original material they have earned a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts around. “Whisky Wine and Venom Love” is the debut album featuring 10 original songs, the new Twin.Fin band name and newest member Brad Lavard on drums. Listeners are referring to the style as “Swing Noir” and “Swingabilly” as the songs explore themes of gin soaked deception, debauchery, and determination.
The band, under its former name, “The Hi-Tones”, made its 2011 stage debut to a packed house at the Richmond Hotel and has performed over 150 clubs, corporate and private shows around South Western Ontario. Highlights include: opening the bill for The Lincolns at the London Bluesfest Xmas Party, performing at the BIOSHOCK 2 Launch Party, performing at packed Roller Derby events at Western Fair, hosting the Annual Hartman’s Classic Car Show, being invited to play the 2nd Annual East End Rockabilly Riot and Rockabilly Shake up #16 in Toronto and playing a sold out shows at the London Music Club, The Brass, Fitzrays, and the Nite Owl.
