About

I'm a 31yr old musician and all around pretty easy going dude. My primary instrument is guitar which I am mainly self taught by ear. Prior to switching over to a full time axe man though I played for years in a variety of different Alternative/Hard Rock bands as a hard n heavy drummer. I consider myself pretty decent on the guitar, but you can judge for yourself. I still enjoy rocking out the bass & drums every once in a while when the opportunity is there. On the guitar, I primarily enjoy playing a fast hard rock/punk style, with high energy, good vocal melodies etc. But because I come from a very diverse background of music, I really enjoy playing anything that sounds good and has a good feel to it, except polka! (not the biggest fan of the accordian, sorry folks). I try not to really limit myself to one genre when creating, whatever comes out comes out.

Most of the songs on my profile are just demos I have recorded on my own(with the exception of the drum beats which were done by a drum machine due to my lack of drums right now), just to give a sense of what I'm able to do creatively, how I play, and the diversity of my background. The tracks "Horseshoes and Hand Grenades" and "Prenatal Advisory" are a couple of rough demos myself and my other guitarist recently recorded together, and is the direction we are kind of looking at heading with our original material.

Keep in mind, these are just rough demos. I have limited knowledge of recording, so a lot of this is just on the fly.
