Scott Michael Place was born in Winnipeg and has been a musician in since 1986. Scott has performed at many local clubs around Winnipeg such as the Blue Note, Dylan O..Connor's, University of Winnipeg, and the Forks. Scott spent two years in Quebec City playing as a street musician as well as in a hard rock-acoustic band called the Gerdas in which he still collaborates using the Internet to record songs with old friends. Scott has plans to visit the studio soon to record a CD with original acoustic material. When not out playing music, Scott can be found teaching Multi-media and Graphics at Charleswood Jr. High here in Winnipeg. He can also be found throwing and kicking balls to his two wonderful young boys and splashing around in the summer at Falcon Beach!
