About

Looking for musicians to form a band with or to jam, experiment, see if we can click and create great music. I used to play in a band when I was younger and had jammed with other different musicians before then life had to happen, got back to school, get a job and paid bills, got married and now have a family. I currently work 3 nights a week (I work in I.T. and have a great paying job ) and have lots of days off so I am interested in trying to get a group together to see if the musical chemistry clicks and try to get some original music together. Im into progressive rock or blues fusion rock (as you notice most of my influences are instrumental guitarists into progressive rock or blues fusion rock) and hoping to sharpen my skills with people I jam with. Not looking to be a rock star, just wanting to play great music at parties and small venues as a part-time job. Contact rdtww708 at rogers dot com

I am planning to possibly rent out some rehearsal studio space at either the Groove Room or DCMusic studios in the near future (at my expense) if we can get a complete group just to check it out. I will keep you posted when I will be at either rehearsal studios for a friendly jam and practice. You can contact me then if you are interested to attend just a friendly jam session to rock out and test skill levels of each other. As we all know most claim to be who they are but are not. I am NOT a "Guitar God" as I already know there are others who are much much better so with that already said, we can just determine how we all fit together because sometimes things do work out if you give it a try. Everything is experimental at this stage.

Influences

Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Alex Hutchings, Steffen Schackinger, Guthrie Govan, Joe Perry, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert, Eddie Van Halen, Lenny Kravitz, Larry Carlton, Kirk Hammett, Duane Allman, Dicky Betts, Steve Gaines, Neal Schon, Robin Trower, Earl Klugh, John Tropea, Carlos Santana, Lee Ritenour, Mark Knoffler, Ritchie Blackmore, David Gilmore, Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Greg Howe, Robert Marcello, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Dave Mustaine, Ron Wood, Albert King, Robben Ford, Gary Moore, Johnny Lee Hooker, Johnny De Marco, Rick Graham, Tom Quayle, Andy Wood, Chris Brooks, Steve Lukather, Zack Wylde, Steve Howe, John Petrucci, Rick Medlocke, Hughie Tommason, Johnny Hiland and countless others too numerous to mention etc...
