    Let It Shine

Well I can see you there layin' on the street.
By the smell of the death down at your feet.
Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door.

I can see that look into your eyes
All I see is the yellow of disease and a
    smile of disguise, of disguise.
Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door.

You say you got that their monkey
    on your back.
By the looks of your body my friend,
I'd say your runnin' out of track.
    Out of track.

Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door.
Oh Lordy, Lordy let the love light
    shine. Let It Shine.

Why don't you take my hand my friend?
We will go to the promised land.
Go on and take my hand, we will go
to a place where the eagles land.

Oh Lordy, Lordy open up the door.
Oh Lordy, Lordy let the love light
shine. Let It Shine. Let It Shine.
    Let It Shine.
