Ahoy there!

I'm a Toronto musician/vocalist/producer/music director now based in Whitby (Humber Jazz grad). Been a professional musician for 20 years, been MDing and producing/recording for nearly as long. I play jazz to punk to funk to blues to R&B to pop, anything short of classical I can do it convincingly. I write music and have released a couple of records (metheusbound.ca - voice/guitars).

I'm looking to join/develop artists working on original material. Also happy to take on cover/tribute work when it's paid. Also, if anyone is connected to the Durham scene would love to get to know the local pubs and stages. Playing local is a bonus!

I play guitar, bass, drums, and sing at a professional level (I'm a good lead player, but I don't "shred". More melodic/pop/blues).

EQUIPMENT

I fully record songs at home for work, so everything a small studio needs. I work in Pro Tools usually (though when I'm MDing I'm in ableton), main interface is AudientEvo16, main vocal mic is TLM103, and then everything you need for drums/bass/guitar.

For guitars and bass I play a lot of fender stuff (I know, I know, I AM WHO I AM), and a Martin D-16RGT. Also experimenting with modeling via ToneMaster Pro (though probably switchign the QC).

Drums are a hodgepodge, Gretsch Brooklyn Snare, Yamaha Stage Custom Birch kit, Sabian and Zildjian cymbals (anarchy).
