Pass of Era began as a solo project for Jorden Krawiec in March of 2008. A handful of short instrumental tracks were produced and recorded in this time. It wasn't long before the project demanded more creative input and another committed member to move forward.
After years of no contact with a drummer from a former band, Jorden happened to attend a practice with the same group of people. Quite literally amazed with the drummers skill, Jorden promptly asked Jonathan Webster to be part of Pass of Era. After showing some initial material to Jonathan and receiving feedback it was quickly realized that the project was something they both felt motivated to turn into a full-time band.
It was decided soon after that 'Pass of Era' would endeavor to record a full length concept album that crossed genres and altogether carried the spirit of progressive music. Most of the tracks for this album were written in the Summer of 2008.
Currently, the band is recording their first studio album and anticipate an early 2009 release.
