Ophir is a rocktronica/electrorock project started by Indica Trichome Project (ITP) keyboardist and drummer Matthew DeMeritt. It is more loop-based than ITP, with a special emphasis on cheap synth sounds, atmospheric textures, and experimental, multi-layered rhythms. In early 2007, singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer Holly Lindin joined Ophir as a lyricist and vocalist, bringing with her 15 years of experience in the music business and elements of linguistic spirituality, a love of the occult, and strong vocal chops. Paired with Matthew's crunchy industrial beats and sweet riffs, it's undeniable that this duo has a powerful sound. With their first album, "Being Sound", due for release March 27th of 2012 (a project entirely arranged upon the uLoops platform.), Ophir plans to take the World by storm!
