I'm looking to start a band. I can write riffs quite easily. I've never really got a chance to jam with anyone outside of my circle of friends, and they're not very creative. I get to the point where I don't know if something I write sounds good or sh*tty, cause it comes pretty easy and I end up feeling lazy. And the guys I jam with just play what I'm playing. So I 'm hoping to start up some kind of metal band. Screaming is cool, but screaming one note, all song, every song is sssssoooooo lame. Really, who can't do that and who wants to hear that at a local bar? I don't and 2 of my favorite bands are Lamb of God and Devil Driver. I want to write all kinds of songs, fast, slow, acoustic, groovy. One song that's fast like Slayer and another song that's tripped out like Tool. I'm good to jam 2-4 times a week.
